What Koguko is
Koguko pairs two adults for a temporary one-to-one text conversation. There’s no sign-up and no profile — you open the site, confirm you’re 18 or older, press start, and you’re matched with a random stranger. When you’re done, one tap ends the chat and, if you like, finds someone new.
It’s deliberately small: the calm, text side of the old “talk to a stranger” internet, without the cameras, accounts, or feeds that most alternatives pile on.
Start chatting →What you get
- One-tap matching with a random stranger — no setup.
- Private, one-to-one text conversations.
- No account, email, password, or profile.
- Ordinary chats aren’t stored by default.
- A one-tap report button on every chat.
- A live online counter and a shared daily “wave” window when the most people are around.
- Runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop — nothing to install.
- Free to use.
What Koguko doesn’t have
- No video or voice — it’s text-only by design.
- No accounts, public profiles, followers, or feeds.
- No gender or country filters.
- No ads today (this may change later; it won’t require an account or paywall the core chat).
- No app to download.
Safety & privacy, in short
Koguko is strictly for adults 18 and over. Chats aren’t monitored in real time, so treat anything you send as public and never share personal or financial details. You can report any chat instantly; reported or seriously flagged chats may have recent context saved, encrypted, purely for moderation review.
There are no accounts, so there’s nothing tying a conversation to your real identity, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number. We keep only limited, aggregate usage numbers and a privacy-preserving signal for abuse prevention — never the contents of ordinary chats. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Who makes it
