Anonymous by design

Anonymous text chat, with nothing attached to you.

Anonymous chat only means something if there’s genuinely nothing tying the conversation to you. Koguko has no accounts and no profiles, and it doesn’t store ordinary chats — so each conversation is just two strangers and then gone.

What “anonymous” means here

No account, no profile, no real name. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number. There’s no avatar, no bio, and no history that follows you from one chat to the next.

Koguko keeps it simple: open the site, press one button, and you’re talking to a random stranger. No account, no profile, no app to install.

What happens to a conversation

Ordinary chats are relayed live and aren’t written to a database. When a normal chat ends or you disconnect, the conversation is deleted from our systems.

The one exception is safety: if a chat is reported or flagged for serious abuse, recent messages are saved — encrypted — purely for moderation review.

Anonymous, not consequence-free

Anonymity protects your identity, not the other person’s feelings or safety. Be decent, and remember the stranger can read, remember, and screenshot anything you send. Never share personal or financial details.

Common questions

Is Koguko really anonymous?

There’s no account or public profile, and we never ask for identifying details. Technical data like a privacy-preserving connection signal may be processed for safety.

Can other people see my identity?

No profile or name is shared. Only what you type in a chat is visible, and only to the stranger you’re matched with.

Do you store my chats?

Not for ordinary conversations. Only reported or seriously flagged chats are saved, encrypted, for review.
